Blood, Tooth and Claw – A Nick Cave Bestiary
Nick Cave has long used classical imagery of plants as metaphors in his songs, from flowers and trees to a bestiary of birds, bees, and hounds from hell. So much of Cave’s work feeds on the inspiration of the natural world as totemic symbols of beauty and threat.
